No, however we would love to arrange an in-person tour of our club so that we can take you through the space and answer any questions you may have, prior to signing up. We also provide a “change of mind” period to all members who sign up.
During this period, members have the option to cancel their membership for any reason.
Yes, when selecting your membership, you can choose between access to your home location only, or reciprocal access across multiple locations.
We offer two membership options:
12-month membership: includes a 12-month minimum commitment.
Flexible membership: no fixed term, with 8 weeks’ notice required to cancel.
During the Change of Mind period, members have the option to cancel their membership for any reason. This is 48 hours from the Start Date of the membership agreement.
Your membership will start from the date that is set when you sign up.
Yes, subject to availability and a $200 transfer fee, members may change their home location at any time. Note that the current advertised rate will apply to all membership changes.
Upgrade
Yes. Subject to availability, members can upgrade to a Fitness + Bathhouse membership at any time. The current advertised rate will apply to all upgrades, and there is no fee to upgrade - we'll process the change as soon as possible. Where upgrades are not immediately available, members will be added to a waitlist and notified once a spot opens up. Members do not need to agree to a new commitment term when upgrading.
Downgrade
Yes, however the process depends on your membership type:
Annual members may downgrade to a Fitness membership at any time by paying a single administrative fee of $200.
Flexible members may downgrade to a Fitness membership with 8 weeks' notice (no fee). The current advertised rate will apply to all downgrades, and members do not need to agree to a new commitment term when downgrading.
Yes. Reciprocal access can be added or removed at any time, and is treated the same way as upgrading or downgrading between Fitness and Fitness + Bathhouse memberships:
Adding reciprocal access is treated as an upgrade. Subject to availability, this can be processed at any time with no fee. Where reciprocal access is not immediately available, you'll be added to a waitlist and notified once a spot opens up.
Removing reciprocal access is treated as a downgrade. Annual members can remove reciprocal access at any time by paying a single administrative fee of $200. Flexible members can remove reciprocal access with 8 weeks' notice (no fee).
Flexible to Annual: You can move from a Flexible membership to an Annual membership at any time, just get in touch and we'll make the switch so that you can enjoy the added benefits and value of an annual membership.
Annual to Flexible: Moving from an Annual membership to a Flexible membership mid-agreement is not considered a downgrade. It is treated as a cancellation of your annual agreement, and therefore standard cancellation fees will apply.
While The Commons does not, and cannot, provide members with any medical advice, we do not recommend that pregnant women engage in any heated activities offered. We ask that all members use their own judgement, based on their own circumstances, and consult with a medical professional to discuss any medical concerns they have, before engaging in activities at The Commons.
The bathhouse opens 30 minutes after staffed hours begin and closes 30 minutes before staffed hours end. This ensures members have time to shower and dress before staffed hours and changerooms close.
Fitness Members
Unlimited access to all classes, excluding classes held within the bathhouse
Fitness + Bathhouse Members
Unlimited access to all classes, including classes held within the bathhouse.
Please note our current staffed hours are as follows.
Monday–Thursday: 5:30AM–9:00PM
Friday: 5:30AM–8:00PM
Saturday: 7:00AM–6:00PM
Sunday: 8:00AM–5:00PM
Annual members will also benefit from 24/7 access to the members lounge and gym of their home location.
Yes, members must be 18 years of age or older. Please note that guests must also be aged 18 years or older.
Outside of staffed hours, annual members may access the members lounge, gym floor and single all-gender changing room and toilet only.
During this time, the bathhouse, studios and the male & female change rooms will be closed. This is both for health and safety purposes, and to allow our team of cleaners to complete a deep clean each night.
